Oklahoma Tornado Recovery

Devastating tornadoes hit Oklahoma causing massive destruction and dozens of deaths. Do Your Part, a disaster relief organization, started this project to aid in the relief and long term recovery that will be required to heal the survivors and the land. Your donations will go directly to assist the survivor with their needs in an effort to bring them back to sustainability.

Update:
Do Your Part would like to thank Global Giving and the many wonderful donors that have helped to make it possible for us to assist the families in need from the loss of their homes and for many their means of living. Thanks to all of you and our partners we have been able to bring several families closer to sustainability. We continue to meet the needs of survivors in Oklahoma.

Do Your Part has assisted survivors with gift cards, for food, clothes, building supplies, and other essentials. With the donations we have also been able to assist with the purchase of building and fencing material and volunteers made it possible to put up the fences and rebuild where needed. Donations have also made it possible to supply furniture, completely furnish a families kitchen and replace beds along with the needs for an infant. Your generosity has made it possible for us to help in Moore, El Reno, Norman, Little Axe and a number of other areas hit by the many Tornadoes. Holiday plans are being made for the children of the Little Axe area . We again thank you for your help and will keep you updated on how we are putting your donations to use.

The original Facebook page is still open and assisting survivors and people wanting to help from the devastating Tornadoes that struck Shawnee and Moore Oklahoma and other parts of Oklahoma on May 19th and 20th, 2013.
